It’s not strange to see big collabs and big hits — but every now and then, one track comes along that just owns the moment. Right now, that track is “Oh Mama! Tetema” by Nora Fatehi and Rayvanny.

If you’ve been anywhere near YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram this week, chances are you’ve heard it, or seen the dance challenge that’s already blowing up across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

The song’s barely been out for five days, and it’s already crossed 12 million+ YouTube views. That’s not counting the clips flooding Reels, with influencers, dancers, and even a few UAE-based celebs jumping on the trend.

Why the hype? Well, first — Nora Fatehi. She’s practically UAE celebrity royalty at this point. Nora Fatehi isn’t a stranger to the UAE stage. From lighting up Expo 2020 Dubai to dancing the night away at massive New Year’s Eve shows, she’s left her mark here and picked up a fan base that cheers like family. Now throw Rayvanny into the mix, one of East Africa’s brightest stars and you’ve got a track that sounds absolutely good

The beat? It’s this wild mix of African groove with a hint of Arabic spice, the kind of sound that works just as well at a beach club in Dubai. And the video? Total eye candy. Bursts of color, high energy, and of course, Nora bringing her signature flair

People are already calling it “the UAE’s song of the summer” —That’s the beauty of tracks like this: they make every day feel like the weekend. So, if you haven’t heard it yet, put your headphones on, hit play, and try not to dance. (Spoiler: you will fail.)

There is a music video coming too, directed by Christian Breslauer and shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Janusz Kamiński.
