Published

on

Have you ever wanted to flaunt your hair without worrying about Dubai’s heat? Dubai’s scorching heat can be especially harsh on your hair. This can ultimately result to breakage causing damage in your beautiful hair.

So, how can you protect your hair from this relentless heat? Here are six surprisingly effective ways to protect hair breakage in Dubai’s heat.

1. Protect Your Hair from Sun

Regular exposure of your hair to the sun can cause damage to it. To curb this, the best step to take is to intentionally protect your hair from the sun. To do this, always wear a scarf, hat or fancy cap when spending a lot of time outdoors. You can also use a hair sunscreen or spray to protect your hair from heat.

2. Hydrate Your Hair

Protect your hair by keeping it hydrated. Use nourishing products like shea butter, coconut oil, argan oil. Deep condition frequently and use leave-in conditioner to keep your hair moisturized and hydrated.

3. Manage Humidity and Heat

Protect your hair by making sure that you stay in air-conditioned environment. Also, use heat styling tools less frequently or use a heat protective product to prevent hair damage.

4. Use Gentle Hair Care Products

Show gentle love to your hair by avoiding harsh products. Harsh products contain chemicals that strip your hair from its natural moisture leading to breakage. Switch to gentle hair products including those made with natural ingredients and also hair ties from soft materials.

5. Trim Regularly

One of the best ways to let your hair grow healthier, stronger is by trimming it regularly. Aim for every 6 to 8 weeks.

6. Use a good hair oil

A good hair oil can help moisturize and protect your hair from damage. When choosing hair oils, look for oils that contains natural ingredients like shea butter, coconut oils and similar oils.

Following these tips will successfully keep your hair healthy and strong even in Dubai’s heat. Remember to be gentle with your hair and don’t hesitate to try new and protective techniques to find out what works best for you.

Cardi B Launches “Grow-Good,” a Hair Care Line Inspired by Bronx DIY Beauty Recipes

Published

With Grow-Good Beauty, Cardi B enters the beauty industry. The line is based on Bronx DIY beauty traditions and her Dominican family’s home hair recipes.

Cardi, who is well-known for her strong work discipline, says the idea developed over time. She had been trying out hair mask recipes from her grandmother and improving them long before the brand existed. Her 2020 DIY mask, which went viral and was made with ingredients like mayo, eggs, honey and oils, was an early look at what would eventually become a full product line.

She stresses that Grow-Good Beauty is based on both science and tradition, saying “I want to make this, but better.” It took three years to make the brand and it underwent several testing. Cardi insisted on products that work for different hair types instead of a one-size-fits-all formula.

Grow-Good Beauty, starts with a full wash-day system that includes shampoos, conditioners, a deep repair mask, and a serum designed for shine, smoothing and heat protection. The collection includes multiple shampoos and conditioner variants for different hydration levels, which is in line with Cardi’s belief that no two hair textures are the same, even in the same family.

She says, “I learned that from my daughter,” pointing out how different her child’s fine hair is from her own. That insight became one of the brand’s main ideas.

Grow-Good Beauty, combines “old-school kitchen remedies with new-school science” including ingredients such as avocado, coconut oil, moringa oil, and mango seed butter, alongside proprietary complexes along with advanced formulas that are meant to protect and strengthen hair. Cardi says it’s a mix of “grandma recipes and modern technology.”

Cardi admits that her own routine isn’t perfect, even though she has a busy schedule and is on tour a lot. She often relies on wigs and quick styling. Still, she hopes the line helps people learn more about and take better care of their natural hair.

Grow-Good Beauty launched April 2026 and is now available online, with more product expansions expected soon.

Odele and Dove clarifying shampoo— Pinterest @ebay

 Deep‑cleaning clarifiers worth their price

Sometimes you need a reset: clarifying shampoos often wow even pricey routines. For instance, Odele Clarifying Shampoo uses a protein‑rich, sulfate‑free formula to remove buildup gently, while Dove Scalp+ Density Boost offers niacinamide and peptides at pharmacy price—both praised in expert picks as smart cleansers worth it.

What Makes a Shampoo Worth Its Cost?

  • Outcome over packaging: The price of a shampoo is not a guarantee that it’s  quality—some shampoos with affordable cost outperform luxe labels  especially if they are carefully put together with thoughtful formulas.

  • Ingredients: When deep cleansing is your intention, shampoo with sulfates should be your pick. Peptides, biotin, plant proteins, keratin, niacinamide, and mild surfactants are the real value drivers.

  • Your Hair Need Comes First: Volume, hydration, repair, or clarifying, choose based on what your hair needs, because the perfect shampoo for your hair won’t leave your scalp dry or hair flat.

Final Thought

The prettiest bottle or the most expensive doesn’t mean it’s worth it. It’s about how your hair looks and feels after the rinse. Most of you can relate to this, after trying shampoos that looked expensive it left your scalp parched and affordable left your hair soft, full and lush. The best thing you can do for your hair is getting the right product and sticking with it long enough to see results.

Whether you grab a salon pick like Briogeo or a drugstore gem like Kristin Ess or Monday, go for the one that truly delivers. That’s how you make every dirham count.
