ÒThe partnership between Meghan Markle and Netflix tied to her lifestyle brand As Ever has come to an end, the move follows the end of the duchess’ lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, which did not continue beyond its premiere season. According to Page Six, the partnership no longer made sense after the show ended, which had been central to promoting the brand and its products.

Despite the split, Netflix said the collaboration helped bring Markle’s vision to life. In a statement, the streaming platform noted that her interest in “elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways” helped shape the creation of the brand.

The lifestyle label will now move forward independently. Representatives for As Ever said the company has grown quickly since launch and is now prepared to stand on its own. The brand focuses on home and lifestyle products and was featured in With Love, Meghan.

Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, first signed a major production deal with Netflix in 2020 after stepping back from royal duties. One of their most successful projects was the documentary Harry & Meghan, which drew significant global viewership when it premiered in 2023. However, some of their later projects did not not generate the same level of interest.

Although Netflix will no longer be involved with the As Ever brand, reporting from Page Six suggests the broader relationship between the company and the Sussexes may continue through other content projects. There is also speculation that special programming connected to With Love, Meghan could still appear in the future.

For now, the focus shifts to how Markle plans to expand As Ever on her own. Early metrics point to solid results for the brand in specific areas. Reports indicate that around 87% of one-million unit jam order connected to the brand has already been sold, generating significant revenue.

As Ever’s next chapter will likely determine whether the brand can maintain momentum without the promotional platform of a major streaming partnership. With Markle now steering the project independently.

Will Smith Demands Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Be Dismissed

Published

Will Smith has responded to a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by violinist Brian King Joseph, asking a judge to dismiss the case before it moves forward. In new court filings, Smith’s legal team argues the lawsuit has no merit, describing it as an attempt to extract money from the actor, and is asking the judge to dismiss the complaint before it moves forward.

Joseph filed the suit last month, alleging that during a tour stop in Las Vegas he returned to his hotel room and found a note reading, “Brian, I’ll be back… just us,” signed “Stone F.” He also claimed he discovered several personal items in the room, including wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, medication labeled with another person’s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to someone he did not know.

According to Smith’s motion, Joseph acknowledged he does not know who “Stone F” is, yet still named Smith and his company, Treyball Studios, in the lawsuit. Smith’s lawyers say the claims do not directly connect him to what’s being alleged.

The filing also disputes Joseph’s claim that he was invited to join Smith’s tour long-term, stating he was hired on a per-show basis. It further notes that Smith and Joseph were never alone together, challenging allegations of inappropriate conduct.

Smith’s legal team maintains the case is unfounded and says they are prepared to present witnesses who would testify that Joseph was not asked to continue with the group due to alleged erratic behavior and difficulties working with others.

Joseph’s attorney has responded that a jury’s decision will ultimately matter more than Smith’s characterization of the case. The court has yet to rule on Smith’s motion.
