Millie Bobby Brown Accuses ‘Stranger Things’ Co-star David Harbour of Bullying

Things may not have been as calm behind the scenes of Stranger Things as fans once thought. According to The Daily Mail, actress Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying complaint against her co-star David Harbour before production began on the show’s fifth and final season.

Sources claim Brown, who stars as Eleven, submitted “multiple pages of accusations,” prompting an internal investigation that reportedly lasted several months. The complaint, however, did not include any allegations of sexual misconduct.

During filming, which wrapped in December 2024, Brown is said to have had a representative on set to ensure a comfortable working environment and to monitor interactions between the two actors. Neither Netflix nor representatives for Brown or Harbour have commented on the situation or the outcome of the investigation.

The pair’s dynamic has long mirrored their characters’ father-daughter relationship on the show. Back in 2018, a then 14-year-old Brown described their connection as both emotional and intense. “We get angry at each other, we’re like father and daughter,” she said at PaleyFest. Those scenes felt so raw and real that they became some of the show’s most powerful moments.

Harbour has also spoken warmly of Brown in past interviews, once calling her “like a daughter” and expressing a “deep fatherly affection” for her as she navigated fame from a young age.
