Stefon Diggs appeared in a Massachusetts courtroom on Friday and pleaded not guilty to charges of assault and strangulation.

The allegations were made by a woman who previously worked as Diggs’ personal chef. According to police documents, the woman claims the disagreement started after she requested the remainder of her contract payment. She alleges that the argument escalated and became physical.

The alleged incident was brought to the attention of the Dedham Police Department on December 16 roughly two weeks after the incident was said to have taken place.

In her statement to police, the woman said Diggs attacked her and attempted to choke her using his arm. She also turned over text messages she said were exchanged between herself and Diggs which referenced the payment disagreement.

Diggs has denied the accusations. Diggs’ attorney said the accusations are untrue and explained that the situation began as an unresolved payment dispute. The defense maintains that no assault took place.

The judge also issued a no-contact order and set a pretrial hearing for April 1. The court case comes shortly after Diggs and the New England Patriots competed in Super Bowl LX, where the team lost to the Seattle Seahawks. He finished the game with three receptions for 37 yards.

At this stage, the case remains ongoing. No verdict has been reached, and Diggs is presumed innocent as the legal process continues.

A Madea Halloween.” Rodriguez alleges that Tyler Perry engaged in unwanted sexual advances and sexual assault, and promised him acting roles in exchange for compliance.

According to the lawsuit, in 2018 Tyler Perry allegedly made non‑consensual physical contact with Mario Rodriguez. Rodriguez alleges that Perry engaged in unwanted sexual advances and sexual assault, and promised him acting roles in exchange for compliance. He is seeking $77 million in damages over the incident.

Perry’s lawyers argue Rodriguez filed the lawsuit to obtain financial relief. Rodriguez’s attorneys contend that he filed the lawsuit after Perry ceased financial support. Perry’s lawyers also argue that any contact was consensual. Perry’s lawyers contend Rodriguez was not harmed. Perry’s legal team is seeking to move the case to federal court.

The court document says that Mario Rodriguez asked Tyler Perry for help with housing assistance and medical bills. Perry’s lawyers contend that Rodriguez made up the claims for financial gain.

Will Smith Demands Sexual Harassment Lawsuit Be Dismissed

Will Smith has responded to a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by violinist Brian King Joseph, asking a judge to dismiss the case before it moves forward. In new court filings, Smith’s legal team argues the lawsuit has no merit, describing it as an attempt to extract money from the actor, and is asking the judge to dismiss the complaint before it moves forward.

Joseph filed the suit last month, alleging that during a tour stop in Las Vegas he returned to his hotel room and found a note reading, “Brian, I’ll be back… just us,” signed “Stone F.” He also claimed he discovered several personal items in the room, including wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, medication labeled with another person’s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork belonging to someone he did not know.

According to Smith’s motion, Joseph acknowledged he does not know who “Stone F” is, yet still named Smith and his company, Treyball Studios, in the lawsuit. Smith’s lawyers say the claims do not directly connect him to what’s being alleged.

The filing also disputes Joseph’s claim that he was invited to join Smith’s tour long-term, stating he was hired on a per-show basis. It further notes that Smith and Joseph were never alone together, challenging allegations of inappropriate conduct.

Smith’s legal team maintains the case is unfounded and says they are prepared to present witnesses who would testify that Joseph was not asked to continue with the group due to alleged erratic behavior and difficulties working with others.

Joseph’s attorney has responded that a jury’s decision will ultimately matter more than Smith’s characterization of the case. The court has yet to rule on Smith’s motion.
