Dubai Fashion Week to Return This October for SS27  

Dubai Fashion Week is coming back to Dubai Design District this fall, and the focus this time is firmly forward. The Spring/Summer 2027 edition will run from October 22 to 26, 2026, with the event organized alongside the Arab Fashion Council.

The event offers designers a chance to build visibility at home while introducing their work to audiences beyond the region. Established houses will show alongside independent labels and newer names, with buyers, press, and industry guests filling the schedule at d3.

Beyond the runway, the week is building in more ways to do business. A dedicated Buyers Programme is part of this year’s schedule, set up to connect designers directly with clients through private meetings, consultations, and access to samples. For a market that’s been pushing to turn attention into orders, that piece matters.

Applications to show are open now through the Dubai Fashion Week website. A Selection Committee will review portfolios, and the brief is clear: brands that reflect diversity, cultural expression, and more considered approaches to design. The focus is on designers from the region, while giving emerging names the opportunity to reach audiences beyond Dubai.

The October shows follow the Autumn/Winter 2026 edition, which featured THAT Concept Store, Lama Jouni, and Manish Malhotra among others. That season brought together designers, buyers, press, and other industry professionals, further strengthening Dubai Fashion Week’s position as an international fashion platform.

For SS27, expect the same combination of runway, presentations, and the meetings that happen between them. The full schedule and designer list haven’t been released yet, with further details expected as the official calendar is announced. With the dates now confirmed, all eyes will be on the October shows and the names set to take part.
