Warner Bros. has revealed that “Practical Magic 2” draws its story from Alice Hoffman’s 2021 novel.The Book of Magic The film follows the Owens family as they face the return of an old curse that threatens the life and legacy they have worked to build.

The film is directed by Susanne Bier. Original “Practical Magic” writer Akiva Goldsman is back to pen the screenplay alongside Georgia Pritchett and Kelly Marcel.

Bullock and Kidman are also producing the sequel with Denise Di Novi, who produced the 1998 film. Alice Hoffman serves as an executive producer, joined by Andrew A. Kosove, Broderick Johnson, and Donald Sabourin. “Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother” follows Latif, played by Ali, a deeply religious hitman whose carefully balanced double life begins to unravel after the sudden death of his wife. With dangerous enemies closing in and his children’s lives at risk, Latif embarks on a desperate journey across Houston, Texas, relying on his combat skills and a blade as he fights to keep his family safe.
